Are you a DevSecOps Engineer with a passion for security? Do you love technology, programming, automation and IT Security? Then we have the perfect challenge for you.

We are Cyber Seals; an organization with a strong focus on technical IT security. For our clients, ranging from government agencies to tech companies, we are looking for reinforcement from someone who really understands DevOps and security. You will be deployed on challenging projects where you can fully apply and develop your knowledge and skills.

What are you going to do?

As a DevSecOps Engineer with security ambition, you will work in multidisciplinary teams on, for example:

  • Building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitLab).
  • Setting up and managing cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
  • Setting up, monitoring and securing Kubernetes clusters.
  • Automate infrastructure with tools like Terraform, Bicep or Ansible.
  • Integrate security into every step of the software lifecycle (DevSecOps).
  • Code review and advise on secure coding (e.g. C, Java, Python, go, etc.).
  • Set up monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana or Elastic Stack.
  • Working with or advising on SIEM/SOAR, threat detection and incident response.

What do you bring?

  • HBO/WO degree with IT background.
  • Certifications in various fields. (security, programming, infra , etc)
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar technical role.
  • Good programming skills (e.g. C, C#, Java, SQL, Python, Go etc.).
  • Knowledge of such things as (Kubernetes, Docker, Vmware etc.)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Affinity for security, experience with security tools, monitoring, threat modeling, secure coding practices.
  • A proactive attitude, you take ownership and enjoy thinking.
  • You feel at home in an environment where learning, sharing and improving are key.

Techniques that make you (and us) happy, for example:

  • Cloud native container platform tooling such as Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, Flux, Harbor, Helm and Keycloak;
  • CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps, Jenkins or Gitlab;
  • Infrastructure as Code tooling including Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates;
  • Observability and/or (security) monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Splunk;
  • Authentication principles such as IAM, RBAC, OAuth and OIDC.
  • Programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, C#.NET, Java, Kotlin, Go, Spring boot
  • Scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell, Ruby
  • SQL and/or NoSQL query languages (ES|QL, EQL KQL)
  • Tools like Wireshark, Ghidra, YARA or IDA Pro are a nice bonus.
