This privacy policy describes our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use the Service and informs you of your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

In order to perform Talent Wire’s services, we ask you for personal data. We are aware that you place your trust in us. We therefore apply a strict privacy policy. In doing so, we adhere to the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG).

In our privacy policy, we let you know what information we collect and record when you use our websites and/or subscribe to talentwire.co.uk and why we collect this information.

What are personal data?

Personal data is information that can be traced back to an individual. Examples of personal data include: a name, a home address, a personal e-mail address or a Citizen Service Number (BSN).

If you register via our website and/or apply for one of our services, such as mediation and recruitment and selection (hereinafter: our services), we ask you to provide personal data. This data will be used to perform these services. Talent Wire only processes the personal data which is minimally necessary for our purposes. In doing so, we strive for minimal data processing. Candidate data may be collected by us in various ways. This can be by:

  • uploading your resume on our website;
  • apply or respond to a job posting yourself through our website;
  • contact with our staff.

The personal data we process are: first and last name, address details, country and region, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number, job level and resume.

This data is necessary to pass on to us in order to provide our services in the best possible way. In addition, we collect data through public websites related to your career, such as LinkedIn.

If we accompany you in an application to one of our employers, references may be contacted. In addition, it is important to receive details about your current conditions of employment. These details are also processed by us. Additional data may sometimes be desirable to better tailor our services to your specific needs. We will always make this known to you.

If you do not wish to provide certain information, you can contact us by telephone. Together we can see if it is possible to mediate in your situation without the processing of these data.

From employers, we collect the following information:

  • The name, address, office information, e-mail address, telephone number and contact person positions;
  • Track contact moments and appointments made.

Purposes of the processing of personal data by Talent Wire

We collect and process data for the performance of our recruitment services and for mediation purposes. In doing so, we collect and use candidate data for the following activities, among others:

  • In establishing and maintaining a mediation relationship;
  • To provide recruitment related and reinforcement services in the field of job placement;
  • In mediating between candidates and employers for potential employment;
  • In finding suitable candidates for vacancies using specific criteria;
  • In submitting resumes and profiles of candidates to employers for assessment by employers for suitability for a vacancy;
  • In sending emails with information about potential job openings;
  • When sharing anonymous resumes with potential employers (group mailings); to provide information to you about our services and other activities directly related to them;
  • for the performance of proper administration and compliance with laws and regulations such as identification, labor, tax and social security laws.

If you indicate that you are not interested, we will only process the information about you that we need to honor your wish not to be contacted by us, such as your name.

Permission

We collect your personal data on the basis of your expressly granted consent, if we are legally obliged to do so or if the processing is necessary for the protection of our legitimate interests. Naturally, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data prior to this withdrawal.

Data sharing

As part of the provision of services, we record data in our database for the purpose of our services. We share candidate and employer data within our organization as needed to find the right job for the candidate and the right candidate for the employer.

The CV and related data of candidates are sent to (potential) employers when necessary as part of our services. These employers are mainly located within the European Union, but in some cases they may be located in places that offer an appropriate level of protection. We also explicitly agree this with these employers.

It is possible that Talent Wire may merge or be acquired. In that case, we may share the information we hold about you with the new owners of the company and their advisors. You will receive notice of this.

We may also share your information with third parties if required to do so by law, or if necessary as a result of litigation or to protect our own rights, or necessary for the advocacy of our services.

We ensure that agreements are made with third parties on the requirements that data exchange must meet.

Newsletter

You can register for our newsletter through our website. For a successful registration we ask for a valid e-mail address, but also your place of residence, level and specialization. We do this in order to inform you as specifically as possible.

You may withdraw your consent to have your personal data stored and used for sending our newsletter at any time. In every newsletter you will find a link that allows you to directly cancel your subscription. In addition, you can inform us about this request at any time using the contact options at the end of this privacy policy.

Talent Wire further has a commercial interest in using some of your personal data for marketing purposes. We process your name, place of residence, email and social media account (if known to us) for social media marketing. We will delete this data once you unsubscribe from our newsletter or indicate that you no longer wish to be contacted by us.

Through our website, we process cookies. You can choose whether or not to accept these cookies. If, as part of our services, your personal data was also accessible to employers or other third parties, we cannot remove your data from their systems. In this case you will have to directly request these third parties to remove the data.

Data subjects’ rights

You will then no longer be contacted and/or mediated by us. As a data subject you can view, correct or delete your data. You also have the right to restrict the processing of your data or to transfer your data to another party. In the unlikely event that you do not agree with the way your data is processed and/or have other objections with regard to our processing of your personal data, you have the possibility to object to this.

This can be done by sending a request by e-mail. It is important that you can prove your identity and that the data you want to view, correct or delete actually belongs to you. It is not permitted to view data of other persons. It could therefore be possible that you will have to visit us to identify yourself.

Of course we are happy to help you if you have complaints about our processing of your personal data. We trust that we will handle your personal data with care and that we will always find a solution together.
