What will you do as a Data Engineer Consultant
As a Data Engineer at KVL, you will advise, develop and maintain data solutions for our clients. You will unlock data from various sources, model them and build the infrastructure that allows clients to make optimal use of their data. In particular, you will work with techniques based on the Microsoft Stack (MS Fabric, Azure Synapse, DataBricks, Azure Data Factory) and leverage your skills in SQL, Python, data modeling, and tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Qlik.
Daily you participate in stand-ups, work on backlog items and provide clear documentation so that your colleagues can benefit from it. In addition, you coach junior colleagues and contribute to knowledge transfer within the team. With us you work on assignments for leading organizations in the Randstad, such as Nationale Nederlanden, Rabobank and PostNL. By developing solutions to data questions and playing an advisory role in setting up sustainable data platforms, you will contribute to KVL’s mission: “Bringing Analytics to the People.” Using Agile principles, you will lay the foundation for successful BI projects, helping clients get more value from their data.
The best part of this role is that you will work closely with fellow Data Engineers within KVL and at the client to always stay up-to-date with the latest developments. At KVL you will also have the opportunity to grow into roles such as Senior Data Engineer, Data Architect or Full Stack Consultant.
