What are you going to do?

As a Data Engineer, you will help organizations transform their raw data into reliable and scalable data solutions. You will build data platforms in the cloud, set up pipelines and work on improving existing data environments. Sometimes you start from scratch, sometimes you optimize what is already there. You think about architecture, performance, data quality and automation.

Which assignment you take on, we decide together. Your interests, development and preferences are central and we provide variety in projects and environments.

Learning together and sharing knowledge is important to us. We do this on projects, but also outside of them, for example during our monthly Data & Drinks.

Who are you?

  • You have a completed college or university degree in a technical or analytical field
  • You have at least three years of experience as a Data Engineer
  • You enjoy tackling complex issues and thinking in solutions
  • You continue to develop yourself and follow new techniques closely
  • You communicate easily with both technical colleagues and business stakeholders

Your expertise

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Working with data lake(house) solutions such as Databricks or Snowflake
  • Strong programming skills in Python, including testing and quality control
  • Experience with Spark or PySpark
  • Familiar with CI/CD and DevOps tooling
  • Experience with containerization, scheduling and orchestration
  • Good knowledge of SQL and databases
